Subobject type Z100 is not valid for object type BT126_APPT

I'm trying to maintain specific screen configurations for specific transactions.  I'm copying the default configuration and am trying to maintain specific values for individial transactions against the business role i created.

When i try to save the configuration above i get the following error message:

Subobject type Z100 is not valid for object type BT126_APPT

 

I can save the line above if I save the Object Subtype as <DEFAULT> rather then Z100.  However i have a number of transaction typpes of object type BT126_APPT and I have different screen display requirements for each of these so the object subtype is a must for me.

 

Any idea why I can't maintain this object subtype value currently?

What is the source of ADRP table data in SAP CRM?

Hi Experts,

 

Could you please advise me what is the source of data in table ADRP for fields First Name (NAME FIRST), Last Name (NAME LAST) and Complete Name (NAME TEXT)?

In BUT000 First Name (NAME FIRST) and Last Name (NAME LAST) are maintained properly. I know that person number is the link between BUT000 and ADRP tables.

I am facing an issue where in table ADRP  the fields First Name (NAME FIRST), Last Name (NAME LAST) and Complete Name (NAME TEXT) are blank however
in BUT000 First Name (NAME FIRST) and Last Name (NAME LAST) are maintained properly.

Modification To Planned Call Transaction (PCAL) During Campaign Execution

Greetings,

 

We have a standart procedure (and therefore customizing) to generate call lists (Planned Call transactions - PCAL) from campaign elements (through execution) assigned to a campaign.

 

And planned cal transactions are generated succesfully.

 

I want to make some modification on this planned call transactions during execution (like changing planned call objective according to objective defined in campaign element).

 

For this purpose, I activated the business add-in: CRM_MKT_MODIFY_ORDER. I wrote some codes in MODIFY_ACTIVITY_OBJ method of the BAdI and set external break points. However while executing campaign element, abap debugger screen doesn't show up. It seems that this BAdI is not triggered.

 

It seems to me that the easiest way to make the required modifications can be done with this BAdI, but I'm open to other solution ideas as well.

 

I'd appreciate any advice regarding this issue.

How to send SMS by using an action

Hello Sap CRM Gurus,

 

my requirement says that I have to send SMS by using an action, whenever a Status of an incident is achieved and a flag is marked.

 

What Kind of FM or Services can I use within this Scenario?

 

I know perfectly how to send e-mail. In fact in the past I have used successfully CRM_ERMS_MAIL_COMPOSE and CRM_ERMS_MAIL_SEND.

 

 

Do I have to use analogue FM or Services? Which ones are you suggesting?

 

Do I have to set up a Kind of formular? In this case should this Formular an E-Mail Formular or a Smart form be?

Error while Processing your query..

Hi Experts,

 

can somebody help us in finding out the root cause for the below issue.

 

Issue: while updating transaction(in our case its Service Request) and upon click of Save we are getting 'error while processing your query'.

 

Logs From Sm21;

 

Transaction Canceled CRM_ORDER_MISC 002 ( ORDER )    

 

Documentation for system log message D0 1 :

 

 

The transaction has been terminated.  This may be caused by a

termination message from the application (MESSAGE Axxx) or by an

error detected by the SAP System due to which it makes no sense to

proceed with the transaction.  The actual reason for the termination

is indicated by the T100 message and the parameters.

Repeat the transaction.

If the error recurs, inform your system administrator. If the error

this is happening very rarely.

Making duration as mandatory

Hello Folks,

 

We have added a new duration type to date profile. And provided the default value for that.

But this is not getting determined in the DB level. Still the default value is getting displayed in the UI.

 

Our assumption, this issue is happening for the older transaction which are created before the duration added to the date profile.

 

Is there any way to make this duration is mandatory. How we can make sure that this has been maintained for all transactions.

Please let me know if anything is not clear/more details.

Checking the Business workplace of a Workflow System

Hi All,

 

   We have an option to trigger an automatic mail to the dealer when a Service Concern is created by a call Center guy. This is through Workflow. If the Concern is not closed then escalation mails will be triggered to the higher levels. W have 5 levels. So i would like to check whether the mails are sent successfully are not. So I should check the outbox of the Workflow user(WF-BATCH). But it is a System user. So how can I check whether the mails are sent successfully are not. Please suggest.

BuilSalesArrangementRel and multipe sales organizations assignments

Hello

I'm using the relation BuilSalesArrangementRel in some WebUI event, however if I assign more than one sales area to a BP, BuilSalesArrangementRel has only got the first of them. Is this a built-in limitation? Is there any other way to retrieve sales org assignment during BP creation, when the data is not yet written to the DB?

Dear experts,

 

I am currently facing an issue concerning the email buttons (Transfer, reply, reply all) that are displayed in our incoming email, but are greyed out and disabled (We can not click on it, or nothing happens).

 

We are using the business role "Service pro" and are using those function profiles:
EMAIL = customized
RUNTIME = DEFAULT_IC

 

We are using ERMS.

The business funtions CRM_IC_INBOX and CRM_IC_INBOX 2 are activated.

 

This is most probably a customizing point I am missing since I heard some people fixed this issue while doing the ERMS customizing on a new environnment, but I can not find it.

 

I had a look in the SCOT customizing to check the SMTP that seems OK. I also had a look in the ERMS customizing and could not find any solution neither.

 

Has anyone ever met this issue ? Does anyone have a solution ?

WEBUI & GUI fields Database Table

Dear Gurus!!!

 

I need clarification in Database Table of SAP CRM GUI and WEBUI. Is there any difference in Table and Fields arrangement of SAP CRM GUI and WEBUI or Same Tables and Fields can replicate data from GUI to WEBUI. Further , if ABAPER do any Enhancement and Development Activity in GUI then it can be visible on WEBUI easily or any other logic would be required.

 

I read following blog but still could not get the clear concept

Modify filename of a template document

Hello everyone,

 

in standard the filename gets the name of the template. I want to modify the filename of a template document during the creation.

 

More exact I want to concatenate the creation time of the file with the filename.

 

Does anybody know the right place to write such a code?

Old Office 365 appointments that are being resent out

Hi Gurus,

 

The issue we are having is with old Office 365 appointments that are being resent out.  We currently had groupware reconfigured due to an issue with synchronization between CRM and Office 365.  Our groupware consultant said that the issue is due to a backlog of old queues in CRM and when the synch between CRM and Office 365 began to work again it resent out those queues.  He said that the queues are now clear and the emails should stop going out. But it seems to me that the Appointments are still being sent out and they need to know how to stop old appointments from being sent.

Custom/AET fields not getting updated in account function module.

Hi Experts,

 

I need some help with one issue which we are stuck with in our system. I will try to give you brief of how the IDOC FM runs here.


In the Idoc FM, we call 3 different FM to create account then create Lead transaction and then an activity where account created is passed as sales prospect to lead and as activity partner to activity.

While creating accounts, we have multiple custom/AET fields added which should be updated before calling the Lead transaction FM.

The issue we are facing is some of the z fields are not getting updated and the idoc goes into successful.Only help I need here to identify a root cause to where the account gets created along with mobile number and address but the z fields doesnt get updated.(intermittent)

 

This doesnt happen with all the cases, when we run 700 idocs, 350 cases doesnt get updated correctly.(so you can say 40-50%).Also in production it happens for 10% of the cases.It could also be system issues where BUPA* queues stuck or something we can enhance with code in account creation and updation.

 

Please let me know incase you can give some of your valuable inputs on the same.Thanks in advance
