We have Desktop Connection Professional Edtion configured and runng fine, but now we want to add a long text field with formatting like for example newlines. I have added a new field in the service, and have made the code to get the formattet long text out in the service. I have also added the field in invisible studio as type string, added the field as a custom text field with the multline flag set to true, and added the field to the metainfo.xml file. I then saved, built, zipped and uploaded the new customization package to CRM and did a sync. The text is synced fine, but when displaying the text, Outlook apparently removes the newline characters and displays it all in one long line.
What do I need to do to get around this? I can't find any documentation on the subject.
