Dear Experts,
We have CRM Trade Promotion Management (CRM 7.0) with BPS planning layouts in BW 7.5 box.
From Jan 2016 we plan to have the BPS planning layouts in BW HANA as existing BW 7.5 box is getting replaced.
Problem is we have only one CRM box and we need to have the connectivity of CRM with new BW HANA box in place by Dec 2016 so that business can start creating the promotions starting from Jan 2016 using the new BPS layouts in BW HANA box.
But the problem is what do we do with our existing promotions which have planning layouts in current BW 7.5 box and will be ending in Dec 2015.
We need to continue processing them till Jan 2016.
So I am not able to understand what situation complications can arise during Dec 2015 as we need the old promotions in BW 7.5 and also enable business to start creating new promotions from Jan 2016 onwards.
So I have the following questions:
1. Is there a way to connect the same CRM box with both old BW 7.5 and new BW HANA boz at the same time.
2. If 'yes', is it possible to make the CRM system retrieve old layouts for existing 2015 promotions from BW 7.5 box and new layouts for 2016 promotions from BW HANA box.
Please advise as we are really stuck and are not able to figure out the way forward.
