Updating email address and telephone number of business partner in SAP CRM

Hi All,

I am trying to update the email address, telephone number , fax number, billing and shipping address of an existing sold-to-party in sap crm. I used

BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE and BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE FMs for updating telephone fax and email details. But in both the try i could see the updated value is present in the address independent communication block of business partner in BP trans. I expect this to be in communication block. We need to change the communication address details.

Please help me out in this.
