Mark unread email as read programatically

Hello everyone,

I need to mark the unread email as read for a particular user in his Inbox.

I can get the OBJTP, OBJYR & OBJNO from table SOOS, but how can I make the email's status as 'Read'?

I found an FM , SO_DOCUMENT_SET_STATUS_API1, is this obsolete? if not, how can we use it?
