Trigger an Incident by non SAP Software

Hi All,

I am trying to find a way to push information from an external system into SAP CRM7 to create an Incident from the data without human Intervention. So is there an Interface, Gateway or something else another system can use to achieve this?

And is there a way to extract the information again from the CRM system without exporting it manually?
